The last major modernization was finished in 1999, for the European Football Championships another conversion of stadium is planned. A capacity of stand is estimated at about 80 thousand seats. The stadium should gain the final shape around 2010. During Euro 2012 in the stadium in Kiev some group matches, one quarter-final and the final are expected to be played. <p><strong>Ukraine Stadium</strong> in Lvov is a new object which will be built specially for Euro 2012.  This modern stadium is expected to be the main element of a large shopping-show centre. At present design works are in the final phase, and according to plan its building is expected to be finished in 2009. A capacity of stand is estimated at over 30 thousand seats. During the European Football Championships in the stadium in Lviv- according to official offer of Poland and Ukraine- some group matches are expected to be played. </p>

<h3>Euro 2012 Dnipropetrovsk </h3>
<p>Dnipropetrovsk  will welcome footballers and football fans during Euro 2012 in a new built <strong>Dnipro Stadium</strong>. At present in progress are works on realization of a building project of stadium, and according to plan its building is expected to be finished in 2008. The stadium is expected to hold in the stand over 31 thousand people. During the European Football Championships – according to official offer of Poland and Ukraine some group matches are expected to be played in Dnipropetrovsk.</p>

<h3>Euro 2012 Donieck </h3>
<p><strong>Stadium in Donieck</strong> – Ukraine ‘s industrial centre, it’s a new object which will be built in the place where was the old one and also where Ukrainian football club called Szachtar Donieck played its matches. Works on the realization of project are in progress, and building according to plan is expected to be finished in 2009. Stadium Szachtar is expected to hold in the stand over 50 thousand people. During the European Football Championships- according to official offer of Poland and Ukraine- some group matches, one quarter-final and one final are expected to be played in Donieck.</p>

<h3>Euro 2012 Odessa </h3>
<p><strong>Central Stadium</strong> in Odessa was built in the 1930s, belongs to football club <strong>Czernomorec</strong> Odessa . At present stadium undergoes modernization. A capacity of stand is estimated at about 34 thousand seats. Modernization should be finished around 2010. In official offer of Poland and Ukraine to organize the European Football Championships in 2012, Odessa was proposed as substitute city. It will be considered in championships programme, if one of the cities won’t manage to bring own stadium to planned level or in case of broading by UEFA number of cities where championship Euro 2012 can be played. </p>

<h3>Euro 2012 Warsaw</h3>
<p>The <strong>National Stadium </strong>  is a planned football (soccer) stadium, which will be built in Warsaw, Poland. The new stadium will have a seating capacity  of 73,000. Its construction is to begin in 2009  and finish in 2011. The national stadium is due to host the opening match (a group match), remaining 2 group matches, a quarterfinal, and a semifinal of the UEFA Euro 2012  hosted jointly by Poland  and Ukraine. The National Stadium  is scheduled to undergo a renovation and expansion to 33,000 seats while being kept in use, albeit it is expected that Legia Warsaw may choose to use the National Stadium for its most prestigious matches. </p>

<h3>Euro 2012 Poznan</h3>
<p><strong>Stadium Miejski </strong> is a multi-use stadium  in Poznan, Poland. It is currently used mostly for football  matches and is the home ground of Lech Poznan. The stadium holds 24,166 people and was built in 1980. Currently it is being re-constructed and expanded to 40-45 thousand seats, all covered. </p>

<h3>Euro 2012 Wroclaw </h3>
<p>The <strong>Stadium in Maslice </strong> is a planned football (soccer) stadium, which will be built in Wroclaw, Poland. The stadium will have a seating capacity  of 44,000. Construction is due to begin in 2008, and finish in 2010. It will be used as a host for the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship. Originally, the plan was to refurbish Olympic Stadium  for the championship. However it was decided to build the new stadium. The final name of the stadium has not yet been decided upon, and the current name is informal. </p>

<h3>Euro 2012 Gdansk</h3>
<p>The <strong>Baltic Arena </strong> is a multi-use stadium  in Gdansk’s  Letnica neighborhood, Poland, which is going to be constructed for 2012 UEFA European Football Championship. According to recent plans stadium will look like amber  and will be similar to Allianz Arena  in Munich. The construction is going to start in 2007. Once completed in 2010, it will be used mostly for football   matches. The stadium will have a capacity of 44,000 people.</p>
